Global Wellness Trends for 2023

A few weeks back The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) released its annual “Future of Wellness” report offering a global perspective of where the wellness sector is heading in 2023. We know that many of our readers are tapped and tuned into wellness trends well ahead of global recognition. We’re listed 5 of the standout themes of Global Wellness Trends for 2023 below. How many already play a role in your life?

Global Wellness Trends for 2023 Summaries

  1. Wellness + Gathering - spaces to come together

One thing to emerge from a global pandemic was a return to community and connection. This year's leading wellness trend was spaces and places that bring people together —intentionally and creatively— and in real life. Social connection is more important than ever. With a desire to connect, it’s no wonder relationships are the #1 predictor of health and happiness.

And we love it because you can do this Global Wellness Trend without any wellness costs associated.

5. Wellness + Senses: Multisensory Integration

Nature is a multisensory and multidimensional wonder, and we can find many of the healing benefits we know by just stepping outside. The 5 senses have always been present in wellness - spa is for touch, wellness music is sound, chromotherapy is color, healthy food is taste, and thermal is temperature. There are products, apps, and places on the rise to bring together all of our senses in a harmonious way to deepen meditation and overall well-being.  Read More
