Truth be told, you don’t have to be a birthing person to be a mother. As Oprah Winfrey said, “Biology is the least of what makes someone a mother.” To be a mother means to leave the world better than you entered it, to build up the next generation, and to understand and see your children for who they truly are and what they are capable of. Motherhood isn’t black and white— it's a vibrant spectrum filled with perfectly imperfect humans with hearts.
